A Bali kitchen has two enemies most imported designs ignore: humidity and ants. Flat-pack carcasses and untreated MDF swell and delaminate within a couple of wet seasons, and poorly sealed joinery becomes an ant highway. We build kitchens around moisture-resistant materials — marine ply or aluminium carcasses, solid or properly sealed fronts — and detail them so they survive open-plan tropical living and the heavy turnover of a rental villa.

Owner Kitchens vs Rental-Villa Kitchens

We design differently depending on use. A private owner's kitchen is about the finishes and the cooking experience; a rental-villa kitchen is about durability and easy cleaning between guests, where every surface needs to survive a stranger every three days. Tell us which yours is and we specify accordingly. Kitchens often run alongside a wider remodel — if you are reconfiguring the living space too, it usually makes sense to fold this into a full villa renovation, and new flooring is a natural pairing.
